The Luminous Pro Series is designed to be user-friendly, allowing effortless operation in both clinical and home environments, without the need for technical expertise opening two pathways for commercialization clinical and direct to consumers.

How to Use the Luminous Pro Series Device for At-Home Breast Health Monitoring

The Luminous Pro Series is a CE-registered Class I medical device that uses safe red LED transillumination technology (approximately 620–780 nm) to help you visually assess breast tissue at home. It’s designed to complement, not replace, clinical exams and mammograms.

Step 1: Charge the Device

Fully charge your Luminous Pro Series according to the manufacturer’s instructions (typically via USB or the provided charging cable).
A fully charged device ensures consistent, bright illumination during use.

Step 2: Prep the Environment

Choose a room where you can turn off all lights for maximum darkness.

A bathroom with a mirror is ideal—this allows you to easily see your reflection while conducting your Luminous Self-Breast Exam.
The darker the room, the better your visibility will be.
After turning off the lights, wait 1–2 minutes to let your eyes adjust to the darkness before beginning.

Step 3: Power On & Adjust Intensity

The top button is the Power Button—press this to turn the device on or off.

The middle button is the Intensity Level Button—use this to select one of the four available brightness settings:
Level 1: Often sufficient for breasts with implants due to increased translucency.
Higher levels: Useful for larger or denser breast tissue where more internal light penetration is needed.
The bottom button is the Timer Button—use this to choose how long the device will remain lit before automatically turning off:

5 minutes

Step 4: Systematic Examination

A. Move the device slowly across your breast area in a consistent, thorough pattern.

B. Red light will reach full intensity when the Luminous Pro Series is in full contact with your skin.

C. You do not need to press hard—simply hold the device gently against your skin.

If you lose contact, the light will dim; restore gentle contact to regain full brightness

D. Use one of these examination patterns:

Circular method: Start at the outer edge of the breast and move in small circles toward the nipple.
Vertical strip method: Move in parallel strips from collarbone to ribcage, and from armpit to cleavage.

E. Don’t forget to examine:

Upper outer quadrant toward the armpit
High chest area toward the shoulder

Step 5: Repeat on Other Breast

Once you’ve examined one breast, repeat the entire process on the other for complete coverage

Important Reminders

Use the Luminous Pro Series as a complementary tool, not a substitute, for medical exams, breast awareness, and mammography.

Regular use helps establish your personal baseline, making it easier to detect changes over time.

Most changes are benign (non-cancerous), but only a healthcare professional can determine the cause. The most important thing is to be aware of how your breasts normally look and feel so you can report any changes to a doctor right away.
